LeToya Luckett was born on March 11, 1981 in Houston, TX. She joined a local girl group which later on became Destiny's Child. After the first 2 albums, she was out of the group for her own reasons. She teamed up with LaTavia and the Casey Twins to try and form another girl group. After many line up changes, they formed Anjel (which consisted of LaTavia, LeToya, Naty, and Tiffany). While they were getting ready to debut, many problems occurred which made it impossible for them to come out. Soon after, they had to break up. Now LeToya is now an artist/owner. She is running her store Lady Elle, has a solo deal with Capitol Records, and will be releasing her solo debut Early 2005.
